The original 7 neighbors of Sherwood Hills Road who built their homes in the 1960s.
Established in 1959, the Sherwood Forest Association mission is to enhance the livability and community cohesiveness of the Sherwood Forest neighborhood, located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The neighborhood is comprised of more than 275 homes within the Sherwood Forest, Timberline (Fox Hills) and Hilloway Park areas.
Here is a slideshow of the History of the Sherwood Hills Road area of Sherwood Forest with many aerial photos, maps, documents, and photos of people playing here in the 1970s. Ron Vegemast presents how he developed the farmland in the 1960s. The neighbors at the presentation discussed other memories like the annual dinner dances we had, and the many horse owners that lived here in the 1970s.
